- Austin Harrison was one of the inaugural members of the Sydney Blues Society. A devoted blues enthusiast, he has presented Stormy Monday, a blues radio program on community radio for over 30 years.
- Tony Peri was also one of the inaugural members of the Sydney Blues Society. He presented Stormy Monday for many years.

- Clayton Frick was one of the inaugural members of the Sydney Blues Society.
- Julie Fox was the SBS President for several years and edited and wrote The Blues Times for many years.
- James Glendenning has been a long time supporter of blues music in NSW. He has a Blues community radio program, has been involved in the organisation of many gigs and festivals and is a moderator on the SBS Facebook page.
